Rezolve Ai Centre of Excellence
In this era of agentic commerce, we at the Rezolve Ai Centre of Excellence (COE) believe in asking the hard questions. Our team brings together students from renowned universities across the UK. They take on pressing challenges sourced directly from our global systems integrator (GSI) partners and develop AI-first solutions. These help retailers anticipate change, earn customer trust and stay ahead of the market.
Our process is simple. Our GSI partners tell us where the greatest possibilities lie to add value for their clients, and we turn those possibilities into working solutions.
At the helm of the COE is a council of experts: professors, industry leaders and our Rezolve team. They draw on decades of experience across academia and industry, challenge our students and encourage them to aim higher. This keeps our work backed by rigorous research and iteration, and grounded in what our clients actually need.
2026 Summer Internship Programme
10 interns. 3 months. 4 real-world problems.
Our pilot summer internship programme put our mission into practice. Ten students from the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and King’s College London took on four problem statements set by our GSI partners. The aim was solutions that work, not just ideas on paper.
- Fraud in agentic commerce: One team built a prototype designed to protect customer accounts and loyalty rewards from takeovers, even when a fraudster’s AI agent holds valid credentials. It aims to do this without adding friction for genuine shoppers.
- Personalisation: Another team set out to personalise the homepage for visitors a shop has never met. Their system reads intent from just a few clicks, with no login or purchase history to go on.
- Stockouts: A third built an early-warning system designed to spot demand shifts and supplier delays in time for planners to act.
- Reviews: The fourth distilled thousands of customer reviews into short summaries shoppers can trust, with each summary checked against what reviewers actually said.
By the end, each problem had become a working demo or prototype.
The interns weren’t left to work alone, and they weren’t held back either. Technical leads from our GSI partners and internal advisors mentored them throughout. They were trusted with real ownership of their work, whether that meant setting direction, making decisions or standing behind the results.
Here is what some of our interns had to say:
Being able to develop a project from start to finish was extremely rewarding and allowed me to experience all sorts of different aspects of research and development. I gained many technical skills through my research but also gained experience in collaboration and presentation in a professional setting. For future interns I would say now is the best time to get involved with Rezolve, as it will be a great learning experience, and they have big things planned for you to get involved with!
Ethan Li, University of Oxford
I learned how to take a project from an initial problem through to results that others could use and build on. The experience showed me how AI is used in a professional setting and gave me the chance to apply it myself. It was also a great introduction to project development and working as part of a team. It was a rewarding experience to build projects with real-world use, work alongside industry professionals, and get advice from people with years of experience.
Elif Haciyanli, King’s College London
Looking ahead: university partnerships and the 2027 internship programme
This summer was only the beginning. The programme showed us what’s possible, and we’re building on it. We’re now exploring partnerships with leading universities and hope to sponsor postdoctoral researchers on COE projects, mentored by both their university and the Rezolve team. We also hope to grow the internship programme in 2027 to cover more universities and more GSIs and so deliver more solutions.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2027 Summer Internship Programme. To apply, send your CV to coe@rezolve.com.
