1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Rezolve AI PLC (“Rezolve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a public limited company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 14573691), handles data in connection with the brainpowa model suite (brainpowa-general-conversational-m-v1, brainpowa-general-conversational-l-v1, brainpowa-general-toolcalling-m-v1) made available through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace via managed compute deployment (“Models as a Platform” or “MaaP”).
This policy applies specifically to the brainpowa models offered via the Azure AI Foundry model catalog. It does not apply to any other Rezolve products or services.
2. How the brainpowa Models Are Hosted and Operated
The brainpowa models are published to the Azure AI Foundry model catalog as container images. When you acquire the MaaP offering, the model is deployed to dedicated virtual machines within your own Azure subscription as a managed compute endpoint. You provision, manage, and control the infrastructure on which the model runs.
Rezolve provides the model container image but does not operate, manage, or have access to your deployment. Specifically:
- Rezolve does not have access to the virtual machines, containers, or compute resources in your Azure subscription.
- Rezolve does not have access to the API endpoints created in your environment.
- Rezolve does not have access to any network traffic to or from the model.
- Rezolve has no remote access, telemetry connection, or callback mechanism to your running deployment.
Once the container image is deployed in your Azure environment, it operates entirely under your control and within your Azure security boundary. For details on how Microsoft handles data in managed compute deployments, see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-foundry/how-to/concept-data-privacy.
3. Customer Prompts, Inputs, and Outputs
When you submit prompts or inputs to a brainpowa model deployed in your Azure subscription, and when the model generates outputs:
- All processing occurs within your Azure subscription, on infrastructure that you manage.
- Rezolve does not receive, access, view, store, or process any customer prompts, inputs, or model-generated outputs. There is no data pipeline from your deployment back to Rezolve.
- Your data is not used for training. Rezolve does not use your prompts, inputs, or outputs to train, retrain, or improve the brainpowa models or any other models. Rezolve has no technical means to access this data.
- Data residency is under your control. Your data remains in the Azure region(s) that you select when provisioning the managed compute endpoint.
Data processing within your Azure subscription is governed by the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA) (https://aka.ms/DPA), your Microsoft Customer Agreement, and Azure data, privacy, and security commitments. You are the data controller for all data processed through your deployment.
4. What Information Rezolve Receives
Although Rezolve does not receive any inference data (prompts, inputs, or outputs), Rezolve does receive the following limited categories of information from Microsoft in connection with Azure Marketplace transactions:
- Customer contact information: Business contact details (such as company name and email) provided during the Azure Marketplace transaction, so that Rezolve can fulfil its obligations under the End User License Agreement (EULA) and provide model-related support. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
- Transaction and usage data: Aggregated transaction details and usage volume associated with the offering, as made available through Microsoft Partner Center analytics (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/analytics). This data is used for billing reconciliation, business reporting, and service improvement planning. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract. It does not include the content of any customer prompts, inputs, or outputs.
5. How Rezolve Uses the Information It Receives
We use the information described in Section 4 for the following purposes:
- EULA and support obligations: To communicate with customers regarding the brainpowa models, including service notices, support inquiries, and material updates.
- Billing and commercial operations: To reconcile transactions and manage the commercial relationship via the Azure Marketplace.
- Service improvement: To analyse aggregated, anonymised usage trends in order to plan capacity and improve the brainpowa model suite. This analysis is performed on transaction-level metadata only and never on customer prompts, inputs, or outputs (which Rezolve does not receive).
We do not sell, rent, or share customer contact information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
- Customer prompts, inputs, and outputs: Rezolve does not receive or retain this data. All inference data remains within your Azure subscription under your control and is subject to your own data retention policies and Microsoft’s Data Protection Addendum (https://aka.ms/DPA).
- Contact and transaction data: Retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Data Security
- For your model deployment: Your deployment runs within your Azure subscription and is protected by the Azure security controls you configure (network isolation, access policies, encryption, etc.). See Azure Compliance Offerings (https://servicetrust.microsoft.com/DocumentPage/7adf2d9e-d7b5-4e71-bad8-713e6a183cf3) for details.
- For the model container image: Rezolve follows secure software development practices when building the brainpowa container images published to the Azure Marketplace.
- For data Rezolve holds: For the limited contact and transaction data that Rezolve receives, we maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures in line with industry standards and applicable data protection laws.
8. International Data Transfers
Customer prompts, inputs, and outputs never leave your Azure subscription and remain in the Azure region(s) you configure — Rezolve is not involved in the processing or transfer of this data.
The limited contact and transaction data that Rezolve receives may be processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside these jurisdictions, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the European Commission.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or port your data.
- For data processed within your Azure subscription (prompts, inputs, outputs): This data is under your control. Please refer to Microsoft’s Privacy Statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement) and your Microsoft Customer Agreement for Azure-level data handling.
- For data held by Rezolve (contact and transaction information): Please contact us using the details in Section 12 below. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR where applicable.
10. Children’s Privacy
The brainpowa models on Azure AI Foundry are intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child’s personal data has been provided to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Azure Marketplace listing or other reasonable means. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the brainpowa models after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
